COLORADO MED SOCIETY UPHOLDS LOOMIS LICENSE REVOKE, LOOMIS GRAND JURY TESTIMONY WRAPS UP EARLY MAY
PMS Boulder County -- The Colorado Medical Society (CMS) issued a statement Friday evening announcing that the Medical License of Samuel 'Doc' Loomis has been permanently revoked. The statement noted the reason for the revocation was that "Doc Loomis engaged in experimental procedures that were not medically sound and performed in conditions unfit for such procedures without appropriate safeguards for the well being of his patients. Surgeries and procedures were performed that were outside the competence and scope of training and experience of Samuel Loomis. Loomis should have had assistance from and consulted with recognized and licensed Medical Doctors. In some cases still under criminal investigation, unnecessary and possibly cruel procedures were performed on victims who were also subject to financial crimes allegedly committed by Samuel Loomis. The Executive Board was in unanimous agreement that Samuel Loomis is unfit to practice Medicine in the State of Colorado." Requests for details of the nature of these practices engaged in by Doc Loomis are held back by the CMS pending the Boulder County Grand Jury investigation.
On May 3, the Colorado Veterinary Association will hold a Public hearing to gather input while considering revocation of the Veterinary License held by Samuel Loomis. There have been charges of experimental surgeries, trans-species organ implants and cloning according to sources close to the Investigation. The hearing in Greeley will commence at 10AM and Loomis is expected to speak as well.
The Rocky Mountain Dental Association (RMDA) had suspended the Dental License of Samuel Loomis on April 21. RMDA investigators are looking into complaints of malpractice and the removal of gold fillings from corpses by Samuel Loomis and an accompice identified as Woog E. Katz. CBI sources are split on the existence of Katz, some believe Katz is an alias for someone acting in concert with Doc, others think Katz is actually Doc Loomis.
Regardless, Loomis and Katz are under suspicion in regards to an investment firm that may have a role in recent allegations that the Independent Sheriff's Retirement Investment Fund suffered Fraud and Embezzlement. The Fund had been managed by Cat's Eye Financial Advisors, LLC and lists Katz and Loomis as the active Managers and Executive Officers. The Grand Jury may be issuing indictments as early as next week in this matter.
Boulder County Sheriff's Department Spokeshuman Wells Dreher announced that Sheriff Ruger Asperhandel has taken early retirement effective May 1, 2006. Asperhandel was under fire from the Ray O'Malley incident where a Boulder County Grand Jury has heard testimony that the Sheriff and his Deputies may have been compromised in their investigation of the crime. While initially ruled an attack by Mountain Lions by Sheriff Asperhandel, O'Malley's assault is now being treated as Attempted Murder by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI). CBI investigators have also linked Sheriff Asperhandel to financial irregularities in conjunction with Samuel Loomis starting in 2002 when Cat's Eye Financial Advisors, LLC was awarded the contract to manage the Independent Sheriff's Retirement Investment Fund. This Fund managed retirement investments for the Boulder County Sheriff's Department and solicited investments from County employees. The current and former Mayors and City Council members of Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Erie and Lafayette also have been identified as investors and potential victims of Fraud.
Sheriff Asperhandel and Doc Loomis were repeatedly contacted in order to get their comments but they have not responded to our requests.

CAR FOUND ABANDONED ON PEAK TO PEAK HIGHWAY, DOC LOOMIS SUSPECTED TO BE IN COUNTY
PMS Boulder County -- Boulder County Sheriff's Department Spokeshuman Wells Dreher announced that Samuel 'Doc' Loomis is suspected to be in western Boulder County and may be traveling with one or more Humans. Dreher said "Doc Loomis is sought by the Boulder County District Attorney for testimony regarding some activities in Boulder County during January and March 2006. A Grand Jury is investigating allegations of cruel and unusual Medical procedures performed in or around the area outside of Longmont known as the Prankster's Palace. It is possible that others besides Ray O'Malley have been victims of assaults, torture and significant financial crimes. We hope to meet with Doc Loomis and get to the bottom of things soon. We are especially interested in this 'Woog E. Katz' person, we think it is an alias of course. What is hard to figure is how the Colorado Secretary of State would let some guy who calls himself such an obvious fake name would be allowed to register a 'legitimate business' in our State." Dreher later mentioned that the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had investigators working the case.
The Colorado Medical Society has reportedly revoked, not suspended as earlier reported, the Medical License of Doc Loomis and the Colorado Veterinary Association is considering sanctions against Doc Loomis according to anonymous sources. Loomis has appealed the Medical License revocation and has hearings scheduled in Denver this April. Repeated attempts to get a comment from Doc Loomis have not been successful.
Later in the News Conference Dreher announced that a silver Acura registered to someone known only as 'Prank' was found just off the Peak to Peak Highway between Nederland and Estes Park just after Noon today, 26 March 2006. "The vehicle was found parked in a safe spot near the Indian Peaks Trail head right off the road. It has been there for maybe just a few hours but it is not normal for County Deputies to see anyone there in these severe weather conditions. It has been snowing above 7000 feet most of the morning and wind gusts have been peaking around 65mph. Snow is blowing sideways and visibility is poor at best. Local whiteouts have been reported and it is suspected that the driver may have been in a localized whiteout and became disoriented. There appear to be multiple sets of Snow Shoe tracks leading up the Trail head and the vehicle was left open. Fierce freezing winds and blowing snow have made what tracks the Deputies found hard to follow. It takes some mighty Hardy Souls, or Damn Idiots, to ever go up that Trail head when the weather is like this. Let's hope we don't have to bring whoever it is down in body bags when the Storm blows past or after Spring Melt. There's a few caves up there and some abandoned mines but even an experienced Outdoorshuman would think more than a few times before putting themselves out there in that mess." Dreher shook his head and then exited the podium with no further comment.

I'm cleaning up the Palace this morning and it's not too bad. Ruger and that Colorado Bureau of Investigation guy took some of the files in your office downstairs. But they never checked the computers, I couldn't believe it, in this day and age. They take a Freakin' Cat's financial paperwork and not look on the computer he paws on everyday? Holy crap! I know Ruger was not all that interested in finding anything but that CBI guy surprised me. Does he work for you too? What exactly are you doing, my Fuzzy Buddy?

No Freakin' way, Supreme Drooler! The 70mph winds in Boulder Canyon are blowing the snow sideways for the next few hours. Same way up Big Thompson to the North so there's no way I'll be dying just to get Doc's sorry butt for you. You can get as pissy as you want, Woogs. Doc is going to have hang for a few hours or maybe until tomorrow. I'm not heading up to Nederland until things settle down.
